Join us to help keep litter out of our rivers and ocean. We will be collecting trash off of highway 80/Johnny Mercer Blvd. on Saturday, Aug. 5th, starting at 8am. Meet us at the Ace Hardware parking lot with your own gloves, picker, and water. We will provide the trash bags, and dispose of the trash collected. Anyone is welcome to volunteer, and you do not need to be a Lions Club member. We look forward to your support!

Join us of Saturday, Aug. 5th for our hot dog lunch and broom sale fundraiser. Hot dog lunch includes one hot dog, chips and soda for $5.00. We are also selling our world famous brooms. Prices are varied on broom type. We will be just outside the Ace Hardware main doors in the parking lot. Look for the blue tent. We hope to see you there!

With the combined resources of our great community, The Islands Family YMCA, The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, and the volunteers at the Islands Marsh and River Lions Club, we have created a monthly open food pantry for those in need. Anyone can pick up food that is available every 3rd Thursday of the month. The pantry will be available from 9am - 10am and from 5pm - 6pm on the specified Thursday for pick up.
